Khaleed Abdul is a prominent Kenyan comedian and actor celebrated for his contributions to the entertainment industry. Born on August 7 in Maralal, Samburu County, Northern Kenya, Khaleed's upbringing was deeply connected to education, as his father held roles as both a teacher and a District Education Officer (DEO).


His educational journey commenced at Maralal Primary School, where his father worked. Later, he attended Maralal High School, where he nurtured his comedic talents by participating in comedy performances during Inter-Schools Entertainment events in 2003.


Khaleed's career took a major turn in 2015 when he made his debut TV appearance on the widely popular Kenyan comedy show, Churchill Show. The exposure from this platform brought him significant fame and opened doors to further opportunities in the comedy scene. He continued to showcase his talents on other TV comedy shows such as "LOL," broadcasted by K24, and "Hapa Kule News," aired by KTN.


Presently, Khaleed Abdul is known for his remarkable portrayals of characters like Farah in the TV comedy show "Classmates," which airs on KBC, and Jinta Hunte in "Vitimbi Plus," broadcasted by Maisha Magic Swahili.


Throughout his journey in the entertainment world, Khaleed's performances have been widely recognized and celebrated. Notably, in 2014, he received the prestigious Cheka Awards for Best TV Sitcom, recognizing his outstanding contribution to "Classmates." The following year, in 2015, he was honored with the Kalasha International Awards for Best Performance in a TV Show, solidifying his status as a highly talented actor and comedian. Moreover, his versatility as an artist was recognized when he won the Riverwood Academy Award for Best TV Commercial for "BONYEZA" in 2016.


Khaleed Abdul's dedication to his principles and values is also evident in his professional choices. In an interview, he disclosed turning down a substantial KSh 1.2 million deal from a liquor company, citing his strong religious beliefs against the consumption of alcohol. This decision reflects his commitment to endorsing products that align with the values of his community and the Muslim religion.
