Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background?

My name is Isaac lemayian born and raised in Nanyuki. I later moved to Samburu in 2015. Then finished my journalism course in 2019

How did you get started in your career?

After finishing my studies, I joined radio mchungaji as an intern then attaché then direct to employment.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Being given an opportunity as a young man in a field dominated by big names, I rose unexpectedly. I also gained recognition from a presenter in one mainstream media Radio citizen.

What are some of the challenges you faced along the way, and how did you overcome them?

Main challenges have been about the hard living and the current economy situation as it has really affected many youths. I decided to look for side hustles like right now am into music production having my own home studio.

Are there any particular projects or roles that have been especially meaningful to you?

Yes, it's having a platform where I can talk about particular issues that interests the young listeners and addressing the good and bad in all situations.

What is your biggest accomplishment that you're most proud of?

My biggest accomplishment was working with big names and artists like , Matata formerly known as FBI dance crew with personal names like B-boy Dennis , almost doing a project together

Who or what has been your biggest inspiration?

My parents have been my biggest inspiration ever since I was small. They kept believing in me and telling me words of wisdom and encouragement.

What keeps you motivated in your work?

The promise of a better tomorrow and good life is what keeps me going

How do you handle criticism and setbacks?

In our field we are prone to critics but I have learned to develop a thick skin and simply ignore every negative feedback or comment and embrace the positive ones

How do you balance your personal life with your career?

I don't work on weekends

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love listening to music, movies, am more of a documentary kind of person

Is there a particular hobby or interest that you enjoy outside of your work?

Production and making of music

What advice would you give to aspiring individuals who want to pursue a career similar to yours?

Keep on going and never give up or back down to anything or anyone

What upcoming projects or ventures are you excited about?

New year eves. Because it's a new chance to start all over

Where do you see yourself in the future, both personally and professionally?

Obviously I expect to progress forward mostly in terms of financial sustainability

Favorite movie is Jack Reacher. Tom cruise

Best piece of advice you've ever received?

Always stay humble

One thing you can't live without?

My alone time. I need my personal space

I did dancing professionally competing in competitions like sakata and katika .
