AFC Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks advances to MozzartBet Cup. semi-finals.

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Dandora Stadium, Kariobangi Sharks and AFC Leopards won their quarterfinal matches, 1-0 and 3-1, respectively, to proceed to the Mozzart Bet Cup semifinals.
Kariobangi Sharks clinched their position with a lone goal netted by John Mark Makwatta at the 32nd-minute mark, courtesy of a well-placed pass from Stephen Bwire.
Steve Biko's outstanding display led to him being named the Man of the Match and receiving a cash prize of Kshs 100,000, which he graciously committed to donating to charity.

On the other hand, AFC Leopards faced an early setback when Philip Simiyu scored for Compel in the first minute. But then, Kayci Odhiambo scored a header in the 28th minute, making the score equal and giving them a chance for a comeback.
Arthur Gitego secured a double with goals in the 44th and 61st minutes, ensuring AFC Leopards' win.Their assistant captain Kaycie Odhiambo was awarded the Man of the Match for his exceptional display.

Four teams have advanced to the prize money stage of the Mozzart Bet Cup. The semifinal fixtures are Kenya Police FC versus AFC Leopards, and KCB FC against Kariobangi Sharks. The prizes for the tournament are as follows: the winner will receive KES 2 million, the runners-up will get KES 1 million, the third-place playoff winner will be awarded KES 700,000, and the fourth-placed team will take home KES 500,000.
