The former manager of Tottenham and PSG will be faced with reducing the size of an enormously bloated Chelsea roster.

Madueke moved to west London in January as part of a £28.5 million transfer with PSV.

He spent four years in the club's academy at Tottenham, where he worked under Pochettino, but left due to a lack of possibilities.

In response to a question regarding the Argentine's hiring, Madueke stated on Sunday, "I think he is a fantastic manager.He has lived in prominent locations all across the world and enjoyed considerable success there. I'm eager to collaborate with and absorb knowledge from him.Chelsea striker Chinonso Noni Madueke has reacted to the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the club's manager. It was Pochettino who ousted Madueke from Tottenham after the Argentine gaffer failed to give him a chance to play. Pochettino is back in London and is unveiled Earlier this week he was appointed as the Blues' new manager after signing a three-year deal.
